Conference Overview The 2021 Global Conference on Health & Climate Change, with a special focus on Climate Justice and the Healthy and Green Recovery from COVID-19, will convene on the margins of the COP26 UN climate change conference. The aim of the conference is to call on governments, businesses, institutions and financial actors to drive a green, healthy and resilient recovery from COVID-19. The conference was delivered in a hybrid format, with both in-person and virtual speakers and attendees, using a dedicated hybrid conferencing platform.

The Global Conference on Health & Climate Change is organized by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Global Climate and Health Alliance (GCHA), in close collaboration with the Glasgow Caledonian University and its Centre for Climate Justice, the UK Health Alliance on Climate Change, the Centre on Climate Change and Planetary Health of the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, and the Wellcome Trust.

The National Secretary General of the National Youth Assembly of the People’s Liberation Party the PLP has condemned and demands a speedy investigation into the crisis surrounding the death of Liberia Peace ambassador Rev. William R. Tolber III, Maude Elliot and John Hilary Tubman. According to Volar, despite the hardship and economic constraints confronting the vast majority of Liberians in the country, the gruesome and mysterious killings of both low and high-profile citizens in recent times continue to create panic and threaten the survivability of ordinary citizens across the Country.
